This treatment works by temporarily reducing the activity of sweat glands in the treated area, helping to significantly reduce sweating for many clients. Most commonly used for the underarms, treatment is carried out following a full consultation and prescribing assessment to ensure suitability.Â
What to Expect at Your Treatment
Before
We take a full medical history, assess suitability and agree on a treatment plan. We'll explain how the treatment works, what results you can expect and answer any questions you may have.
During
The treatment involves a series of small injections placed just beneath the skin in the targeted areas. The area can be numbed prior to treated meaning any discomfort is minimal. Treatment usually takes around 15-20 minutes.Â
After
You may experience some mild redness, swelling, tenderness or small bumps at the injection sites immediately afterwards, this is normal and usually settles quickly. Full aftercare advice will be given at the time of your appointment.Â
Results typically develop over 1-2 weeks, with the effects last several months.Â
