What to Expect at Your Treatment
Before
We take a full medical history, assess suitability and agree on a treatment plan. Photos may be taken for your confidential records and local anaesthesia can be applied.
During
Tiny, targeted injections are placed using fine needles. Most appointments take around 30-60 minutes.
After
Immediately after - Redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can be completely normal following your treatment.
Aftercare Instructions
For the first 24 hours:
- Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated areas unless specifically instructed to do by the practitioner
- Avoid applying pressure to the treated area
- Avoid applying makeup to the treated areas
For the first 48 hours:
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofen, other NSAIDs or aspirin unless prescribed or medically necessary.
For the following 2 weeks:
- Avoid extreme temperatures and UV exposure i.e. sauna, steam, sun beds, very hot showers for 2 weeks.
- Avoid facial massages or electrical stimulation of the face for the next 2 weeks.
Mild swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising are common following dermal filler and should gradually improve over the following days.
PLEASE CONTACT THE CLINIC IMMEDIATELY:
- If you develop increasing or severe pain, significant swelling or any unexpected change in the treated area
- The skin becomes unusually pale, white, blotchy, or with uneven discoloration
- You experience any visual disturbances or changes to your vision
- Any other side effects you think are important
- If you feel distressed or worried in any way
