What to Expect at Your Treatment
Before
We take a full medical history, assess suitability and agree on a personalised treatment plan. We'll explain how the treatment works, expected results, risks and aftercare for you can make an informed decision.
During
Small amounts of product are injected into precise muscles using very fine needles. One of the standout benefits of anti-wrinkle injections is their convenience, the treatment usually takes 15-30 minutes with almost no down time after.
After
You may notice tiny red marks or mild swelling at injection sites that settle quickly after. Please see below for full aftercare instructions.
Aftercare Instructions
For the first 4 hours:
- Stay upright
- Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated areas
- Avoid anything that puts pressure on the treatment area
- When cleansing, avoid pressure and use gentle strokes away from the eyes.
For the first 48 hours:
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofen
For the following 2 weeks:
- Avoid extreme temperatures and UV exposure i.e. sauna, steam, sun beds, very hot showers for 2 weeks.
- Avoid facial massages or electrical stimulation of the face for the next 2 weeks.
Please contact the clinic:
- If you develop a side effect, such as a dry eye, droopy eyelid, heavy brow.
- Any other side effects you think are important.
- If you feel distressed or worried in any way.
- Your review can be carried out from day 14 after your procedure.
