Chemical Peels
Chemical peels use carefully selected acids to exfoliate the upper layers of the skin, improving texture, tone and radiance. At Trinity Skin Clinic we use CLINICCARE professional peels, chosen to target specific concerns such as acne, pigmentation, dullness and signs of ageing.
What can chemical peels improve?
-
Uneven, rough or congested skin texture
-
Mild acne and post-acne marks (in suitable cases)
-
Early fine lines and dullness
-
Sun damage and uneven pigmentation
-
General loss of radiance and glow
What to Expect at Your Treatment
Before
We take a full medical history, assess suitability and agree on a treatment plan. Your peel choice is always guided by a full consultation for we can match the right peel to your skin's needs.
During
Your skin is cleansed and prepared before the CLINICCARE peel is carefully applied. You may feel warmth, tingling or mild stinging while the peel is on the skin. The solution is then neutralised and a professional CLINICCARE sheet mask is applied with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid for a hydrating and soothing effect. Treatment time is usually around 30 minutes.
After
Skin may appear pink and feel slightly sensitive immediately afterwards. Depending on the peel used, you may experience some dryness or light flaking over the following days. You’ll receive clear aftercare instructions, including gentle skincare, sun protection and what to avoid while your skin recovers.
Many patients notice a fresher, brighter look within a few days of a CLINICCARE peel. Texture, clarity and pigmentation usually improve gradually over a series of treatments. For best results, a course of peels spaced a few weeks apart is often recommended, followed by maintenance treatments and a supportive homecare routine.
