Microneedling

Microneedling uses ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This stimulates your body's natural healing response which promotes the formation of collagen and elastin, leading to an improvement in fine lines, acne scarring, uneven texture and overall skin tone.

For best results, a course of 3-6 treatments, 4 weeks apart, is recommended depending on your skin concern.

Our Approach at Trinity Skin Clinic

At Trinity Skin Clinic, microneedling is carried out by Hannah, a Registered Nurse, in a controlled, clinical setting. Every treatment is combined with a bespoke mesotherapy cocktail to target your specific skin concern and enhance your results.

What to Expect at Your Treatment

Before

We take a full medical history, assess suitability and agree on a personalised treatment plan.

During

The microneedling device is passed evenly over the skin to create precise micro-channels. You may feel a light scratching or prickling sensation. Treatment time is typically 30–45 minutes.

After

Skin usually looks pink and may feel warm, tight or slightly sensitive for up to 24-48 hours, similar to mild sunburn. You’ll receive clear aftercare instructions, including when to resume active skincare and sun protection advice.

Many patients notice a fresher glow within a few days, with texture and scarring improving gradually over several weeks as new collagen forms.
